The front and back of the Sketchbook worksheet was due Friday. If you did not turn it in, your grade is a zero at this moment.  Please finish it and see me directly. Those with unfinished sketches, hard wax orders need to placed and work on your insect should start today. You do not need to order wax if you are using soft wax, but you must have graded sketch to receive materials to create your piece. Wax models must be roughed out by Friday with detailing taking place next week.  The wax models will be critiqued before casting steps can take place.

Keep working on your packet.  At this time, do not work on the ring designs.  Once our sample is done, we will talk about how to approach this page.

Sample Fabrication:
1. Saw your metal in half with a zig zag line.

2. Draw a shape on one of the halves.  Tap a dimple towards the inside of the line.  Drill a whole in the dimple.  Saw out the shape.
